Meera ( part-2 )

Ranvir, living in Mumbai, received updates about Meera’s life in Bangalore. It seemed she was living life to the fullest, dating and socializing with younger, unmarried colleagues from her office. Nights out at clubs, movies, and dinners at restaurants became routine, with Meera often returning home late. She had also started drinking.

These reports, shared by Ranvir’s friends, kept him informed about Meera’s activities. However, they also made him hesitant to return to Bangalore to visit his wife and daughter. One friend even suggested that Muni might not be his daughter.

In reality, Muni was being cared for by Matia, the driver. Matia had become a constant presence in Muni’s life, and she had started calling him “Papa.” Despite having his own grandchildren around Muni’s age, Matia treated Muni like his own child.

Meanwhile, Meera seemed too busy with her social life to spend time with her daughter. She rarely had moments to talk to Muni, leaving Matia to fill the parental void. As a result, Muni grew closer to Matia, who became her primary caregiver.
As Ranvir’s life in Mumbai took a new turn, he found himself drawn to a widow and childless woman from his office. They developed a strong bond, and Ranvir eventually decided to marry her. This decision led him to take a significant step – sending a divorce petition to Meera.

When Meera received the petition, she was taken aback. The news sent her into a deep psychological depression. She struggled to cope with the reality of her marriage ending. In an attempt to escape her emotional pain, Meera turned to alcohol, often drinking to numb her feelings.

Her social life, which had already been active, now took a darker turn. She spent more time with her boyfriends, frequently staying overnight in hotel rooms. This behavior became a way for her to distract herself from the emotional turmoil she was experiencing. As the divorce proceedings loomed, Meera’s life seemed to spiral further out of control.
Despite her personal struggles and late nights, Meera excelled in her professional life. Her dedication and work ethic earned her high praise from her boss, who appreciated her ability to maintain a stellar performance despite her challenging circumstances.

Meanwhile, Matia continued to be a rock for Meera’s daughter, providing her with the care and stability she needed. Matia’s presence in their home was a constant source of comfort, and Meera was grateful for his dedication to her daughter’s well-being. As Meera navigated her complicated life, Matia’s role became increasingly important, offering a sense of normalcy and support.
After receiving the divorce papers, Meera acknowledged them and chose not to contest the divorce. Instead, she prayed for its acceptance. The judge ultimately ruled in favor of the divorce, citing mutual consent.

Following the divorce, Ranvir married the widow woman he had fallen in love with. Meanwhile, Meera underwent a significant transformation. She stopped going out as frequently and instead spent most of her time at home after office hours. She took up jogging and devoted more time to her daughter.

Matia, who had been a constant presence in their lives, continued to take care of the household chores, allowing Meera to focus on her personal growth and her daughter’s well-being. With Matia’s support, Meera’s home life became more peaceful and organized.
Matia, a much older man with no formal education, lived with Meera and her daughter, whom he had grown fond of. There was a significant age gap between Matia and Meera, with Matia being about 20 years older. Despite their differences, Matia had developed a strong bond with both Meera and her daughter.
Meera liked Matia for his simplicity, sincerity, and dedication. She fell in love with him, and they got married with mutual consent. After the marriage, Meera, Matia, and Meera’s daughter lived happily together.
