The reason for divorce was only one point that all her ex-husbands disliked her Bally dancing. She was a veteran Bally dancer, hence according to her without dancing her life is nothing.
Kamrup was studying MS in a local university of Houston. He was from Assam, India, he was a professional dancer. Both of them danced together. Both loved each other and decided to marry each other. She traveled to Assam to marry him. The couple’s journey from dance stage to a traditional wedding ceremony in Hindu tradition and culture is a testament to the power of love and cultural exchange.
Both met on the dancing stage where he performed Manipuri dance and she performed modern Bally dance nearly a year ago, starting with regular chats and gradually moving to video calls and mobile calls daily. As their connection deepened, they fell in love, and she proposed to him. After receiving family approval, she traveled to Assam to tie the knot in Hindu tradition. Before the wedding, she converted to Hinduism in the ISKCON temple adopting the name Malati. This significant step marked a new chapter in her life, as she prepared to embark on a journey with her future husband.
Upon arrival in Assam, she was warmly welcomed by his family at the Airport. The couple then journeyed to his hometown, where villagers extended traditional hospitality, showering her with gifts and celebrations. The couple got married in a traditional Hindu ceremony in the village following local customs and Hindu traditions. Local police and family sources confirmed the marriage, which has garnered significant attention and interest in the region.
