A Story of Love and Destiny

Tarun, a devoted father and husband, worked as a sepoy in central excise department and was posted in Barbil, while I was posted in Barbil. After his wife’s untimely passing, he dedicated himself to ensuring his son Aditya’s happiness. Aditya, a bright young man, had completed his studies in a local ITI and was awaiting a job opportunity. Tarun took it upon himself to find a suitable bride for Aditya.
Several proposals came in, and Aditya selected Lovely to be his partner. However, Lovely’s mother refused due to Aditya’s lack of employment. Despite this setback, Tarun persisted in his efforts to find a suitable partner for his son. Aditya’s then selected to join in BSF. His determination to join the BSF brought new hope for his marriage with Lovely. However, Lovely’s mother refused again, citing concerns about Tarun’s postings out of the state.
A Twist of Fate
After Lovely’s father passed away in a road accident, her mother reconsidered the proposal. However, instead of proposing Lovely’s marriage to Aditya, she proposed that Lovely marry Tarun himself. Tarun agreed, and their marriage was arranged.
However when the astrologer revealed that Tarun was a Manglik, for which his first wife was passed away , the traditional practice of marrying a Manglik person to a tree or an idol was followed. Tarun was married to a banyan tree, and Lovely was married to a dog. These symbolic marriages were meant to balance out the negative effects of Mars in their birth charts. Finally, both Tarun and Lovely got married to each other.
A Happy Ending
Despite the unconventional start, Tarun and Lovely’s marriage blossomed, and they lived happily with their two daughters. The story highlights the importance of family, love, and perseverance. It also showcases the cultural practices and traditions that shape our lives.
An Unsettling Aftermath
However, the story takes a strange turn when we learn that the banyan tree to which Tarun was married was uprooted, and the dog to which Lovely was married was never seen again. Despite this, Tarun and Lovely’s love for each other only grew stronger.
