As the sacred day of Rath Yatra approaches, the air is filled with the chant of ‘Jai Jagannath’. This grand festival, dedicated to Lord Jagannath, an avatar of Lord Vishnu, along with his siblings Balabhadra and Subhadra, is a celebration of unity, faith, and spiritual merit. On June 27, the deities will leave their temple complex in Jagannath Puri and journey to the Gundicha temple on elaborately decorated chariots, blessing their devotees.
