The Turbulent Story of Pinky : A Cautionary Tale Against Divorce (Part-II).
By Lokanath Mishra
After their mutual divorce, Pinky and her husband namely Vijay went their separate ways, unaware of the challenges that lay ahead.
Vijay, a bank officer, thought he had found love again when he married another woman. However, his new wife turned out to be a thief. One night, she looted his jewelry and cash and disappeared. To avoid societal criticism, Vijay didn’t report the incident to the police.
Years later, Vijay married a poor girl, hoping to find happiness again. However, his second wife appeared, demanding fifty lakh rupees or else she would inform the police about his third marriage without divorcing her. Vijay was forced to pay thirty lakh rupees by selling his house and made an agreement with his second wife, without acknowledging their marriage.

Vijay’s life had become a series of unfortunate events, all stemming from his divorce with Pinky. If he had somehow adjusted with Pinky, his life might have taken a different turn.
Pinky, on the other hand, was living with her brothers, but her life was far from happy. She at the age of 31 years had entered into an extramarital relationship with the owner of the coaching center, a 60-year-old married man with two married daughters.
One day, while engaged in a romantic encounter at the coaching center, Pinky and her lover were caught by the police and arrested. They spent 18 days in jail and are now out on bail, awaiting the final decision on their case.
