This is to inform all pensioners that the 8th Central Pay Commission (CPC) is scheduled to visit:
• Delhi: 28th April 2026 to 30th April 2026
• Pune: 4th May 2026 to 5th May 2026
These visits provide a crucial opportunity for our Association to present pensioners’ issues directly before the Commission.
Action Plan of the Association:
1. Request for Personal Hearing (Interview):
The Association will formally request the Commission to grant time for a personal hearing (interaction) with our delegation.
• For the Delhi visit, the request will be submitted well in advance, preferably between 15th April 2026 and 20th April 2026.
• For the Pune visit, the request will be submitted between 22nd April 2026 and 26th April 2026.
2. Procedure for Submission of Request:
• A formal letter will be addressed to the Secretary, 8th CPC, requesting an appointment.
• The request will be sent through official email as well as hard copy (where required).
• The letter will include:
• Brief introduction of the Association
• Key issues proposed to be discussed
• List of delegation members
• Preferred date and time for interaction during the visit period
• Follow-up communication will be made to ensure confirmation of the appointment.
3. Submission of Memorandum:
A comprehensive memorandum covering pension revision, parity, healthcare, and other welfare issues will be submitted to the Commission during the meeting.
4. Delegation Meetings:
Senior representatives will attend the interaction and present our case with supporting data and justification.
5. Coordination with Other Associations:
Efforts will be made to coordinate with other pensioners’ bodies to ensure a united and stronger representation.
6. Member Support:
Members located in Delhi and Pune may be called upon for support, if necessary. Further details will be communicated in due course.
All members are requested to remain alert and extend full cooperation during this important exercise. This is a significant opportunity to strongly represent our long-pending demands before the Commission.
