( based on true story )

Lina’s life was on track. At just 23 years old, she had landed a coveted position as a lecturer in the philosophy department at a government college. Her students admired her, and her colleagues respected her. But amidst all the admiration, a sinister presence lurked in the shadows.
Bingo, a final-year honours student, had been making unwanted advances towards Lina. He would often declare his intention to marry her, disregarding her clear disinterest. His actions escalated to the point where he openly tried to touch her inappropriately, leaving Lina shaken and vulnerable.
Determined to take a stand, Lina lodged a complaint with the principal and filed a police report. Bingo was arrested and released on bail, but his anger and resentment simmered just below the surface.
As Lina went about her daily routine, she couldn’t shake off the feeling of being watched. She would catch glimpses of Bingo lurking around the college campus, his eyes filled with a malevolent intent.
One fateful evening, as Lina was going home from college in her Scotty, Bingo’s vengeance caught up with her. He attacked her from behind on his bike, sending Lina crashing to the ground. Her world went dark as her brain struggled to process the trauma.
The next day, Lina woke up to a reality she could hardly comprehend. The lower part of her right arm and the upper part of her left arm were completely damaged. Her right ear, the right side of her head, her left side, and her face were all injured. A bald spot on the right side of her head and scars all over her body served as a constant reminder of the brutality she had endured.
Bingo was arrested and charged with attempted murder. But for Lina, the damage had already been done. She felt as though she had been killed that day, her life forever changed by the cruel actions of another.
As she struggled to come to terms with her new reality, Lina was forced to confront the harsh realities of her situation. She was now known as a ” Road Accident Survivor,” a label that reduced her to a single, defining moment. But Lina was more than just a survivor; she was a warrior, fighting to rebuild her life and reclaim her identity.
In the face of unimaginable trauma, Lina’s story serves as a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. Though her life had been forever altered, she refused to let her circumstances define her. Instead, she chose to rise above, her voice a beacon of hope for all those who have suffered at the hands of others.
