Switzerland

Days 3–5 : Switzerland

Switzerland has long been admired for its political neutrality, efficient governance, precision engineering, and spectacular natural beauty.

Geneva

Our first destination is Geneva, internationally recognised as the headquarters of numerous global organisations including the United Nations. The famous Jet d’Eau, soaring nearly 140 metres above Lake Geneva, has become an enduring symbol of the city. We also hope to visit the United Nations district and the celebrated Flower Clock, representing Switzerland’s renowned watchmaking tradition.

Lucerne

The tour then proceeds to the charming city of Lucerne, where the moving Lion Monument commemorates the bravery of the Swiss Guards who sacrificed their lives during the French Revolution. Nearby stands the beautiful medieval Chapel Bridge, one of Europe’s oldest covered wooden bridges, decorated with historic paintings depicting Swiss history.

Mount Titlis

A major highlight will undoubtedly be our excursion to Mount Titlis near Engelberg. Travelling in the world’s first rotating cable car, we shall ascend to over 3,000 metres above sea level. Snowfields, glaciers, ice caves, suspension bridges, and panoramic Alpine views promise an unforgettable experience. For travellers from India, where snow is a rarity except in the Himalayan regions, standing amidst the Swiss Alps is certain to be a magical moment.

Our exploration also includes Interlaken and the crystal-clear Lake Brienz, surrounded by towering mountains and charming villages. The tranquil blue waters and breathtaking scenery perfectly illustrate why Switzerland is considered one of the world’s most beautiful countries.

Lake Brienz

We shall spend three nights at H+ Hotel & Spa Engelberg, allowing us to fully appreciate the peaceful atmosphere of the Alps.
