LAXMI AND AARAV
By Lokanath Mishra
Laxmi sat in her marriage mandap, surrounded by her loved ones, but her mind wandered to her childhood memories. She thought about her mother, who had always been caring and supportive, putting her children’s needs before her own.

Laxmi’s childhood was filled with happy moments, and she felt grateful for her mother’s love. But life took a turn when her mother became disabled and ill. Laxmi took care of her, putting her own life on hold.
Her siblings were obedient, but Laxmi went above and beyond to care for her mother. She didn’t want to leave her mother’s side, which is why she was hesitant to get married.
But her mother was determined to see Laxmi married and settled. As Laxmi looked at her mother, she felt a deep sense of love and compassion. She remembered her mother’s stories about struggling to provide for their family, working tirelessly to make ends meet.
Laxmi’s thoughts turned to her husband, Aarav. She had known him since childhood, and he had always been a kind and devoted person. His love and care for his parents inspired Laxmi to do the same for her mother.
As Laxmi and Aarav exchanged vows, they made a promise to each other and to their parents. They decided to take care of both sets of parents equally, visiting them regularly and showing them love and compassion.
Laxmi’s mother smiled, seeing the love and commitment in her daughter’s eyes. Laxmi held her mother’s hand, feeling a sense of contentment wash over her. She knew she was doing the right thing, repaying her mother’s love and kindness.
As the marriage ceremony came to an end, Laxmi and Aarav shared a tender moment, surrounded by their loved ones. They knew that their journey together would be filled with love, care, and compassion for each other and their families.
