Misjudged Intervention

There was a highly intellectual person in Bhubaneswar, with a unique educational background – a graduation in Science and Law. He had worked in various departments, including as a laboratory attendant in a college, in the Cooperative Department, the AG office, and finally in the Taxation Department. His intellectual contributions were vast and could fill a big book.

One day, while sitting in a restaurant near Vani Vihar square, he witnessed a scene that caught his attention. A few people were rushing a girl in a seven-seater vehicle towards a private hospital, and the girl was shouting in pain. Assuming the worst, the intellectual person quickly informed the police, providing the vehicle’s number and stating that the girl was being abducted.

However, when the police reached the hospital, they found that the girl was actually being brought in for delivery and was experiencing labor pains. The family members were simply trying to get her the necessary medical attention. The police were amused by the misunderstanding and reprimanded the intellectual person for jumping to conclusions.

Despite his intellectual prowess, the person had let his emotions get the better of him, and he had acted without verifying the facts. The incident served as a reminder that even the most intelligent among us can make mistakes, and it’s essential to approach situations with a level head and clarity of thought. ( to be continued)
