Odisha Mahotsav 2026 to Celebrate Literature, Art, and Cultural Excellence in Sambalpur

In a grand initiative to honor the rich literary and cultural heritage of Odisha, Odisha Mahotsav 2026 is set to be आयोजित on 21st June 2026 at the Tapaswini Auditorium, Sambalpur. Organized by Happy Moments India, the festival promises to become one of the most vibrant cultural gatherings in the state, bringing together writers, poets, artists, musicians, dancers, social workers, and cultural enthusiasts under one platform.
The event, themed as a “Literature & Cultural Festival”, aims to recognize outstanding contributions in the fields of literature, art, music, theatre, folk traditions, social service, and cultural promotion. The Literature Awards will include honors such as Best Literary Award, Poet of the Year, Emerging Writer Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, and Best Story/Novelist Award. Special recognition will also be given through the Odia Literature Excellence Award.

The beautifully designed festival theme reflects the essence of Odisha’s heritage through depictions of Odissi dance, temple architecture, classical music, literature, and traditional folk culture. The poster also showcases some of Sambalpur’s iconic attractions, including Hirakud Dam, Samaleswari Temple, Debrigarh Wildlife Sanctuary, the famous Bargarh Dhanu Yatra, and the renowned Sambalpuri Saree.
