A Sacred Confluence of Achievement, Culture, Service and Spiritual Awakening
Article by Lokanath Mishra, IRS (Retd.)International Director, Happy Moments India
India has always taught the world that true greatness lies not merely in material prosperity, but in compassion, wisdom, sacrifice, creativity, and selfless service to humanity. Civilizations flourish when they honour their teachers, saints, artists, social reformers, thinkers, and dedicated servants of society. Inspired by this eternal Indian philosophy, Happy Moments India is organizing the grand Shrikshetra Utsav 2026 on 12th July 2026 at Sanskruti Bhawan, Puri, Odisha, the sacred abode of Lord Jagannath.

The holy land of Shri Jagannath Dham is not only a centre of devotion but also a symbol of universal brotherhood, equality, tolerance, and divine love. Lord Jagannath belongs to all humanity. His culture teaches unity beyond caste, creed, religion, language, or social status. Organizing Shrikshetra Utsav in this spiritually charged atmosphere gives the programme a deeper meaning and transforms it into a noble movement of social awakening and cultural harmony.
The event is being organized under the visionary leadership of Dr. Rajendra Prasada Panda, Founder and Chairman of Happy Moments India, whose life has become synonymous with service, encouragement, and social upliftment. Through his untiring efforts, many talented but neglected individuals from different corners of India are receiving honour, encouragement, and a platform to shine before society. His humanitarian mission reflects the timeless Indian value that service to humanity is the highest form of worship.
Shrikshetra Utsav 2026 is not merely an award ceremony; it is a tribute to the silent heroes of society whose contributions often remain unnoticed despite their immense value. The programme seeks to honour excellence and dedication in education, literature, arts, music, dance, drama, sports, social service, youth leadership, healthcare, humanitarian work, cultural preservation, and national service.

Prestigious Awards of Shrikshetra Utsav 2026
One of the most remarkable aspects of Shrikshetra Utsav is the presentation of several distinguished awards that carry deep social, cultural, and spiritual significance. Each award has been designed not merely to recognize achievement, but to celebrate noble values and inspire society towards positive action.
International Achievers Award
This prestigious honour will be presented to outstanding personalities who have achieved excellence at national or international levels through dedication, innovation, creativity, and social contribution. The award recognizes individuals who have elevated the reputation of India through their work in education, science, literature, social service, entrepreneurship, arts, culture, or humanitarian activities.
The award carries a message that true achievement is not measured merely by personal success but by the positive impact one creates in the lives of others.
India International Glory Award
This award is dedicated to personalities who have brought pride and honour to India through exceptional contributions in their respective fields. Whether through cultural promotion, academic excellence, international cooperation, or social leadership, the recipients symbolize India’s rich heritage and global dignity.
The award reflects the spirit of a resurgent India rooted in spirituality, knowledge, and universal values.

Shrikshetra Seva Sarathi Samman
This unique honour carries immense spiritual importance. It recognizes selfless social workers, volunteers, humanitarian activists, and community leaders who dedicate their lives to serving the poor, needy, helpless, and suffering sections of society.
The term “Sarathi” symbolizes one who guides humanity towards righteousness and compassion. Inspired by the sacred culture of Jagannath Dham, this award honours those who embody the ideals of love, service, sacrifice, and humanity.
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Professional Achievers Award
Named after the beloved former President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, this award honours professionals who combine excellence with integrity, innovation, and social responsibility. Teachers, scientists, administrators, doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs, and professionals who work with dedication for national development will be recognized under this category.
Dr. Kalam’s life teaches that dreams, discipline, humility, and service can transform both individuals and nations. This award seeks to inspire young professionals to follow his noble ideals.
International Youth Icon Award
The youth are the builders of tomorrow’s India. This award recognizes dynamic young achievers who have demonstrated leadership, creativity, innovation, courage, and commitment towards society. Young personalities contributing in education, sports, social reform, arts, environmental protection, technology, and humanitarian service will be honoured.

Bharat Kala Ratna Samman
India’s cultural heritage is one of the greatest treasures of human civilization. This prestigious honour is dedicated to artists, musicians, dancers, actors, writers, poets, sculptors, painters, and cultural activists who preserve and promote Indian art and tradition.
At a time when traditional arts face numerous challenges, this award becomes an important effort to encourage cultural preservation and artistic excellence. It recognizes that art is not merely entertainment but a sacred expression of the human soul.
Mother Teresa Seva Samman
Inspired by the life of Mother Teresa, this award honours individuals and organizations engaged in humanitarian service, charity, healthcare, care for the destitute, orphan welfare, women empowerment, and social compassion.
Mother Teresa taught the world that the purest form of spirituality lies in serving suffering humanity. This award recognizes those noble souls who dedicate their lives to spreading love, kindness, and hope among the needy.
Subhash Chandra Bose Rakta Veer Samman
This special honour recognizes voluntary blood donors, blood donation organizers, healthcare volunteers, and humanitarian workers who save human lives through selfless service. Named after the great patriot Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the award symbolizes courage, sacrifice, patriotism, and dedication towards humanity.
Blood donation is one of the highest forms of human compassion because it directly saves lives without discrimination. This award seeks to inspire society, especially the youth, towards humanitarian responsibility.
Recognition as a Spiritual Duty
Indian culture has always emphasized the importance of respecting goodness and honouring noble deeds. In the Mahabharata and Bhagavad Gita, great emphasis has been placed upon कर्मयोग — selfless action performed for the welfare of society. When society honours sincere contributors, it strengthens moral values and inspires others to walk the path of righteousness.
Recognition is not merely about trophies or certificates. It is about restoring dignity, encouraging perseverance, and spreading hope. A neglected teacher may regain confidence; a struggling artist may receive encouragement; a social worker may feel inspired to continue serving humanity. Thus, every honour presented at Shrikshetra Utsav becomes a symbol of gratitude from society itself.
Cultural and Spiritual Importance of the Event
The spiritual atmosphere of Puri gives a divine dimension to the entire programme. Lord Jagannath’s culture stands for universal acceptance, equality, and compassion. The famous Mahaprasad tradition teaches humanity to rise above divisions and embrace unity. Similarly, Shrikshetra Utsav seeks to unite people through culture, service, talent, and humanity.
Odisha has always been a glorious land of saints, poets, philosophers, musicians, dancers, and spiritual reformers. The classical beauty of Odissi dance, the devotional poetry of great saints, and the architectural magnificence of temples continue to inspire the world. Shrikshetra Utsav reflects this rich cultural legacy and seeks to preserve it for future generations.

Towards a Better Society
In today’s world, where materialism, stress, intolerance, selfishness, and moral decline are increasing, programmes like Shrikshetra Utsav carry immense relevance. They encourage positive thinking, social harmony, national pride, cultural awareness, and spiritual awakening.
The younger generation especially needs such inspiration. Society must teach youth that real success is not merely personal achievement but contribution towards humanity and the nation. When talent is combined with compassion and values, it creates true greatness.
The noble mission of Happy Moments India under the leadership of Dr. Rajendra Prasada Panda deserves appreciation and support from all sections of society. It is hoped that Shrikshetra Utsav 2026 will continue to inspire people across the country and become a beacon of cultural unity, social service, and moral awakening.
Let us all join hands to honour goodness, celebrate talent, preserve culture, and spread happiness among humanity. For when we uplift others, we uplift ourselves spiritually and move closer towards a compassionate and enlightened world.
“Service to humanity is service to God. Recognition of goodness is the beginning of social transformation.”
